As the Founder-CEO of Avenues India Private Limited, Vishwas has guided the company to become South Asia's No. 1 eCommerce service provider within two years of its launch. He oversees the strategic planning, execution, financial management and marketing tie-ups at Avenues.

The solution is India's largest direct debit engine, which connects to more than 40+ Indian banks in real time and processes all types of Credit Cards, Debit Cards and Cash cards. ResAvenue®, the second initiative is the fastest growing Hospitality solution in the Indian Sub-continent. Launched in 2004, more than 1000 hotel properties in Asia are using ResAvenue's state-of-the-art booking engine, distribution services and payment gateway services on their hotel websites. EventAvenue®, the third Initiative was launched in 2006 and was India's first and the industry's leading online registration and payment gateway software that is used by event organizers, corporations, schools, universities, associations, temples, non-profit and government organizations, and more, for conferences, trade shows, sporting events, class admission registrations, donation collection, webinars and other event managements. More than 500 conferences, exhibitions, webinars, class admission registrations, concerts and sporting events were powered by EventAvenue during the last calendar year making it one of the fastest growing online registration and payment gateway solution in South Asia. HotelsAvenue® is a solution for the travel agent that has been been launched in the year 2010. It addresses the travel agents, online intermediaries, portals etc. aspirations of having live feeds of instantly 'bookable room inventory' of over a hundred thousand global hotels on their own websites. More than 1,00,000 agents / affiliate network of ITZ Cash Card / One Stop Shop / Done Card / Oxygen's Oxicash / Multilink are currently using the HotelsAvenue solution to source Hotel Room inventory for their customers. The next few solutions, MembersAvenue®, and TrustAvenue® are some of the new initiatives in the pipeline.

Vishwas has been featured extensively in many publications and has been bestowed with many awards including the Asia-Pacific Information Security Leadership Award by (ISC)2 the non-profit global leader in educating and certifying information security professionals, in Bangkok in 2007 and the Udyog Rattan Award by Institute of Economic Studies and an Excellence Award for Avenues, a company he has founded and nurtured. Vishwas is also the Chairman of the Payments Committee of the Internet and Mobile Association of India (IAMAI) and is an active speaker at many Internet related forums.

Prior to founding Avenues, Vishwas was a practicing counsel on the Original Side of the Bombay High Court. He also co-founded the SEASONS Group of Companies, which owns the fashion brand 'SEASONS' (www.SeasonsIndia.com), which today is the top name in the branded Indian ethnic garments industry and is retailed at over 1500 top outlets in over a 100 cities around the globe. Vishwas is also involved in his family's construction business, which has constructed several landmark structures in India's financial capital, Mumbai. Vishwas is a Commerce graduate and holds a Degree of Law from the Mumbai University.

A Management Graduate with an additional PGD in Computer Management, Vivek is the Chief Operating Officer at Avenues. Prior to joining Avenues in the year 2002, Vivek has had thirteen years of experience working in critical operational and decision making positions in the areas of business development, brand management for India's leading brands during his stint in the Indian subsidiaries of some of the top global companies including WPP Group, Draft FCB and Grey Worldwide.

Vivek manages functions related to Operations, Brand Development, Corporate Communications, Customer Support and HR. His past experience in strategic business development and corporate planning has proven invaluable in determining divisional strategy, setting up of operational and performance goals that are tailored to each division and in allocating requisite resources among divisions. He also oversees the HR function and works on strategies to build human core competencies that are in line with organizational values.

Vivek is a popular speaker at various forums and is an ardent evangelist on eCommerce. He is a prolific writer and his articles on the industry have appeared in many business publications.

As Director - New Business Development, Anupama's extensive hands-on experience with IT and related business processes has helped her guide the organization in critical techno-commercial functions. She is responsible for the strategic planning and scoping functional requirements and specs for new ventures and projects. Her past experience as project co-ordinator in the field of architecture in USA, as well as the web application development in India, has helped her master the intricacies of one of her key responsibilities - that of Planning and Implementation.

Working with Avenues since the year 2002, she has recently moved into the position of Director New Business Development from the position of COO to focus on new ASP /B2B initiatives such as EventAvenue®, HotelsAvenue®, TrustAvenue® and other projects. Her unique combination of technical and commercial prowess, helps keep Avenues ahead in its strategy to provide cutting edge solutions to eMerchants worldwide.

Ankit is the Chief Technology Officer of Avenues. He manages the company's technology infrastructure, with staff and resources in India, United States and Singapore. His all-round experience in every aspect of the business and his good analytical skills has proved invaluable in the company's quest to attain perfection in various demanding business driven models. Ankit has a successful track record of IT leadership of almost 10 years with broad experience across infrastructure operations, network management, process development, application development/deployment, database management, website operations, developing - structural designs to optimize software operations, booking engines, fares management systems and other external connectivity solutions. He is responsible for web service delivery and software development lifecycle and selecting the right technology tools for all the cutting edge solutions developed by Avenues.

Ankit was earlier the 'Project Manager' at Avenues, whereby he successfully architected the EventAvenue solution, which is today, one of the fastest growing event management solution in the Indian Sub continent. Ankit is a Commerce graduate from the University of Bombay and an Advanced Diploma in Web Development and Database management from SSI.

Smita serves as the Chief Risk Officer, leading and managing the Legal, Risk and Regulatory affairs of Avenues India Pvt Ltd and its three international subsidiary companies. She advises the Avenues's executive team, and the operations and marketing team on a variety of issues and maintains the company’s relationships with external legal counsel. Under her, the Avenues Legal Department has played a leading role in corporate communications, corporate compliance and intellectual property strategy. Smita is responsible for ensuring that the work processes related to legal issues, documentation, risk management and recovery are in place and running smoothly. Her past legal experience has proven invaluable in her achievement of the highest standards in risk mitigation and recovery management. Her key responsibilities include continued improvement of the work processes involving legal documentation processes, risk management and to evolve path breaking risk management tools which will help reduce the company risk profile even further.

Prior to joining Avenues, Smita served as counsel for nine years with designated Senior Counsel P.K. Dhakephalkar in Bombay High Court, focusing on corporate finance, securities law compliance, and general corporate counseling. She has received a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from the University of Mumbai, a LLB degree and an LL.M. in Consumer Protection Law and Hindu Law from the University Of Mumbai. Smita is a member of the Bar Council Of Maharashtra and Goa and the Advocates Association of Western India.
