CCAvenue
NOVEMBER 2016
In a game changing move, CCAvenue, India's leading payment gateway, has included the UPI (Unified Payments Interface) as a payment mode on its feature-rich payment platform. An initiative of the RBI-backed NPCI (National Payments Corporation of India), UPI revolutionizes how mobile banking is done using breakthrough technology that enables instant electronic payments with just a Virtual Payment Address (VPA). Consumers can link several bank accounts to their UPI enabled bank app and create multiple virtual addresses for each account, thereby enabling easy fund transfer.

After selecting the UPI option on the payment page, your customers must simply provide their Virtual Payment Address to proceed. The VPA acts as a payment identifier without the need for customers to disclose their bank account details or card/wallet credentials. A payment approval notification will be sent to your customers on their VPA for authentication, they must confirm the transaction on their UPI app with their Mobile Banking PIN (MPIN) and the payment is complete. It's that simple! Instead of an OTP (One Time Password), UPI uses the MPIN as the RBI-mandated 2-Factor Authentication.

Avail the UPI option on our platform to collect payments conveniently and seamlessly from your customers, while delivering an enhanced transactional experience!
