CCAvenue strengthens its payment portfolio with the integration of Aircel Money wallet
2nd January, 2017
Aircel Money, a mobile wallet by Aircel Smart Money Limited (a subsidiary of Aircel) is a relatively new entrant in the competitive payments market. Within just a few months of its introduction, the wallet has successfully built an enormous customer base by means of its convenient and secure payment services. Any customer using an Android or iOS device can avail the service through their prepaid or postpaid connection, irrespective of the telecom operator to which they have subscribed. Aircel Money facilitates easy online payments by allowing customers to pre-load money into the wallet through net banking, debit card or credit card.
Referring to the new addition, Mr. Vishwas Patel, CEO, Avenues India stated "Post demonetization, the mobile wallet space in India has greatly benefitted and the average wallet spend is witnessing a huge jump. In fact, a recent study revealed that the country's mobile wallet market is expected to reach Rs. 1512 billion by 2022. At CCAvenue, we endeavour to promote this trend further by partnering with as many wallet providers as we can. With the addition of Aircel Money on our platform, CCAvenue merchants will be able to offer real-time and secure payment services to the extensive customer base of the wallet, which will eventually result in substantial growth for their business".
Being a merchant neutral company, CCAvenue already has all the major wallets integrated on its platform including Reliance JioMoney, Paytm, MobiKwik, FreeCharge, State Bank Buddy, etc. As the company rolls out more and more payment options this year, its merchants can look forward to a great deal of business opportunities.
