JANA CASH wallet users can now transact smartly on leading websites powered by CCAvenue, India's largest payment gateway!
3rd September, 2015 - Mumbai, India
Realising the importance of digital wallets in the online payments space, CCAvenue has introduced the mobile-friendly JANA CASH wallet in its widest payment network. The payment gateway now includes all the major Indian e-wallets including Paytm and MobiKwik. This move enables thousands of Indian web merchants powered by CCAvenue to reach out to an ever increasing customer base and multiply their revenues considerably.

Digital wallets allow users to store and control their online shopping information such as login credentials, shipping address and card details at one central location, while serving as a convenient and quick means for consumers to buy products from web stores or pay for utilities and recharges online. E-Wallets have become increasingly relevant since there are not many customers who hold credit cards or prefer to use them while shopping online.

In order to provide a one-stop solution to loyal customers and offer appropriate products and services to fulfil their financial objectives, JFS (Janalakshmi Financial Services) has introduced the JANA CASH wallet. Janalakshmi Financial Services (JFS) is a for-profit NBFC that serves those in urban areas who were hitherto not being served, with the promoter stake held in the not-for-profit entity Jana Urban Foundation.

JANA CASH is a combination of E-pocket and Janajeevan card. Primarily these wallets are aimed at the existing JFS loan customers, Badti Bachat customers and open market customers in association with DCB bank. Existing JFS customers can link their Janajeevan card with their JANA CASH wallet. Whereas open market non-JFS customer can subscribe for the JanaJeevan card and link with their JANA CASH wallet.

Open Market Customers can download the JANA CASH app from the play store/appstore and provide the necessary details to register themselves. Once the customer has been registered, the URN gets generated from the system and the wallet is created in the internationally reputed mFino platform, which delivers mobile financial services to any phone, builds user adoption and increases revenue manifold.

As CCAvenue continues to introduce such innovative payment options, it will only help merchants achieve more sales in the future. More than 85% of Indian eCommerce sites across leading business verticals opt for CCAvenue's advanced PG solutions to expand their online businesses.
