Avenues introduces new ‘Privilege Scheme’ for high volume merchants

Over the past few months, the Indian eCommerce space has been gaining momentum at a furious pace. More and more Indians are going online and activity spending money buying goods and service at a wide range of online portals. This trend has had a positive impact on the eCommerce ecosystem and the prognosis looks good.

Encouraged by positive outlook, Avenues has launched a ‘Privilege Scheme’ for online merchants. This Scheme is meant for those merchants who are expecting a high volume of transactions through their portal. The pricing strategy of the Privilege Scheme is one of a higher setup fee but a lower per transaction rate. With this Scheme, a high volume merchant can achieve a ROI within weeks of going live.

The details of the Privilege Scheme are given below:
Setup fee: Rs. 40,000/- + ST (One Time Non-Refundable)
TDR: 3.75% + ST across all payment options i.e. Credit Cards, Net Banking, Cash Cards and Mobile Payments except American Express at TDR 5% + ST
ASUC: Rs. 3,600/- + ST
(ST = Service Tax @ 12.36%)
Existing merchants can upgrade to the Privilege Scheme by paying the difference in setup fee.
