CCAvenue inks partnership with Kerala Gramin Bank to offer its ATM cum Debit card as a payment option

With this alliance, CCAvenue merchants will be able to offer the bank's ATM cum Debit facility and expand their market reach to include a well-established customer base in southern India.

Kerala Gramin Bank or KGB is India's largest Regional Rural Bank (RRB) headquartered at Malappuram in Kerala. KGB has 600 branches, 4 service branches, 3 ultra-small branches, 10 regional offices, more than 270 ATMs and 157 kiosk-banking outlets across the state. The inclusion of KGB in CCAvenue's secure payment gateway will enable the 2.5 million ATM cum Debit cardholders of Kerala Gramin Bank to make instant online payments for a variety of products and services across sectors like hospitality, retail, and education, among others. Moreover, the addition will offer a faster and convenient checkout experience to the bank's customers while they transact on leading eCommerce sites powered by CCAvenue. With the ATM cum Debit card option, customers can altogether avoid the hassle of lengthy transactions that involve filling in the CVV number and passwords during the payment process. Instead, all they have to do is enter their regular ATM PIN on the bank's transaction page to complete the purchase.
